Friendly owners. Value for money. Convenient location for chateaux.
Compact rooms with no tea/coffee making facilities. Daily specials in restaurant were the same on both days, combined with a limited menu/a la carte choice. Wine a bit expensive.

A cute little quiet town 5 mins drive from amboise, our room looked out onto courtyard and lots of trees. Friendly staff
only downside was there was no wifi available.

The food in the restaurant was very good and the auberge is located next to a lovely chateau with extensive grounds that you can walk in. the town itself is very quiet, so this was a bonus.
The rooms were clean, functional although rather on the small side.

I thought it was simple and nice and clean and a very good price compared to other hotels in Amboise. Also the dinner was excellent, I really enjoyed it.
Probably the bathroom, a bit too functional but again, you pay the price and you get.
